If you are planning to update your current hardware in 2019, you best be aware that since mid-2018 Intel has been having an issue meeting the demand for their processors.  This is not affecting just a single manufacturer.  It is across the board with HP, Lenovo, Dell feeling the pinch along with all the major suppliers affected.

Manufacturers are, for the most part, taking orders and then fulfilling them based on a first order in is first order out as they get the product.

So if you are considering an upgrade in mid-2019 perhaps it makes sense to order hardware sooner than later so you can take delivery of the hardware in time to keep to your update on schedule.
